At Mesaaxis we take the protection of your personal data seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect when you visit mesaaxis.com or shop with us, why we collect it and what rights you have. 2. WHAT DATA WE COLLECT

2.1 Data you give us

a) Contact and account data, such as your name, email address, phone number, delivery and billing address and, if you create an account, your login details.

b) Order and payment data, such as the products you buy, order amounts, the payment method you choose and payment confirmations. Your full card details are handled by our payment providers and are not stored by us.

c) Communication data, such as the content of emails or messages you send us, for example about sizing, returns or complaints.

d) Newsletter data, such as your email address if you sign up for our newsletter.

2.2 Data we collect automatically

a) Technical data, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, operating system, date and time of your visit and the pages you view.

b) Cookie data, such as information stored through cookies and similar technologies. More details are in section 6.

c) Approximate location, derived from your IP address.

2.3 Data we receive from others

a) From payment providers, such as confirmation that a payment was successful or failed.

b) From shipping companies, such as delivery status and tracking updates.

c) From social media platforms, if you contact us or interact with us through them.

3. WHY WE USE YOUR DATA AND THE LEGAL BASIS

a) To process your order, deliver your products, handle payments, returns and refunds and answer your questions. Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

b) To meet our legal obligations, such as keeping invoices and accounting records under Italian tax and commercial law. Legal basis: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

c) To keep our website secure, prevent fraud and improve our store. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

d) To send you our newsletter and personalised offers, and to use non essential cookies for analytics and advertising. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time.

4. WHO WE SHARE YOUR DATA WITH

We only share your data when it is needed for the purposes described above.

a) Shipping companies receive your name, delivery address and, where needed, your phone number or email so they can deliver your parcel.

b) Payment providers receive the data needed to process your payment.

c) Technical service providers, such as our website hosting, shop system, email and customer service tools, process data on our behalf under data processing agreements and are bound to confidentiality.

d) Tax advisors, accountants and authorities receive data where this is required by law.

e) In the event of a merger, sale or restructuring of our business, data may be transferred to the new owner.

We never sell your personal data.

5. TRANSFERS OUTSIDE THE EU

Some of our service providers may process data outside the European Union or the European Economic Area. In that case we make sure your data is properly protected, for example through an adequacy decision of the European Commission or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR DATA

We keep your data only as long as needed for the purposes described above.

Order and invoice data is kept for 10 years, as required by Italian tax and commercial law.

Customer service messages are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and any related claims.

Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.

Account data is kept until you delete your account, unless we must keep certain data for legal reasons.

8. YOUR RIGHTS

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

b) have incorrect data corrected
c) have your data deleted
d) restrict the processing of your data
e) receive your data in a common, machine readable format
f) object to processing based on our legitimate interests
